Yesterday we added rails to the fence around the retaining wall kitchen garden. For a few weeks now we've had lone posts sticking out of the ground. We still need to level off the post tops, add a gate, then paint the entire thing. And then there is the small matter of clearing out all the weeds and adding raised beds. We'll leave the posts higher in the back right corner to accommodate strung wires on which we will grow grape vines.
We used a post level, a very handy tool indeed, to keep our posts level as we went along. These are $8 at the hardware store, and well worth it if you are planning to build your own fence.
It looks beautiful. I can't wait to see more pictures of it!
