I read the Quit Your Day job on Etsy featuring you today and am having one of those "we are kindred souls" kind of moments. From the hunting for treasures at flea markets and salvage stores, the DIY and house renovations to living off the land...it resonates with what my husband and I are all about and exactly what we're doing (or moving towards) in our lives. Hopefully our move from the metro area of Minneapolis to outside of Seattle in less than a year will help us to follow our hearts and continue towards our journey. Thank you for being so inspiring.
hi claire, we did exactly as you two about 10 years ago. just left you a comment on etsy. congrats on the feature! we ended up being in vermont for 6 years before heading back to boston to be close to my husband's work (not a ton of need for architects in vermont) and family. our son was born in vermont and we had an amazing 6 years. still call the house home. we rent in the boston area and head back up to vermont whenever possible where we have the small house we renovated, a barn, and 10 acres. can't get over the similarities!! wishing you all good things. c
